Jimmy Deryl Beasley was born on February 2, 1942, to Maxine and Vynne Beasley in Stamford, Texas. He departed this earth on February 17, 2024, at the age of 82. Jimmy was raised in Hamlin Texas and was a graduate of Hamlin High School. Jimmy married Delores Dean Killion in Mexico on February 18, 1961. They would have been married 63 years. Jimmy was an important part of Hamlin. He farmed for most of his years. In 1960 he worked for Killion Trucking, Celotex in 1973. He was the owner of Hamlin Auto Parts from 1982 to 2008. Jimmy went to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Middleton Unit for 13 months. He returned to the auto parts store and sold it in 2008 to enjoy retirement. Jimmy was a Mason and Shriner and enjoyed working in his yard for as long as his health would allow it.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Jimmie and Grover Smith. He is survived by his wife, Delores Beasley; son James Beasley (Connie); and his sister, Debbe Nelson; Also survived by grandchildren Jacob Beasley, Luke Beasley and wife Haley, Lori McCutcheon and husband Jeremiah; a very special great-granddaughter, Harper McCutcheon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
