Longest Married Couple project accepting nominations

Beginning January 9th nominations are being accepted for the first annual Longest Married Couple Project sponsored by the Hamlin Herald. Nominations will continue through February 7th and the winner and nominees will be featured in the Hamlin Herald's February 12th edition.
“It will be such a joy and inspiration to recognize a husband and wife, who have been married for many, many years,” the coordinators said.
Nominations are open to all husband-and-wife couples, regardless of religious affiliation. The names of the couple, their wedding date and location are required and photos are highly encouraged. To nominate a couple, email pipernews@sbcglobal.net
The couple that has been married the longest will win a free steak dinner at Texas Taste located at 37 N Central Avenue in Hamlin.
