2025 Homecoming Queen Nominees

BrylieDuniven: Brylie is the daughter of Arron and Brandi Duniven. She has attended Hamlin ISD for 2 years. Brylie has participated in cross country for 4 years, Track for 4 years, Softball for 4 years, and One Act Play for 1 year. She has served as a class officer for 1 year. Brylie received the honor of Piper Scholar last year and has participated in the Miss Snake Charmer Scholarship Pageant for the last 3 years. She would like to have a special shout out to her friends and family: I love y’all! After graduation, Brylie plans on going to Texas College of Cosmetology to obtain her Esthetician license. She is escorted by her father, Arron Duniven.
Darriana Lee: Darriana is the daughter of Amber Lee. He has attended Hamlin ISD for 12 years. Darriana has been in Student Council for 2 years, National Honor Society for 2 years and FFA for 2 years. She has also participated in basketball for 4 years, softball for 4 years, track for 4 years, Cheerleading for 2 years, and Band for 4 years. She has also been in One Act Play for 3 years and the Athletic Leadership Council for 1 year. Darriana has served as a class officer for 3 years and awarded the Piper Scholar for the last 3 years. Darriana is on a course completion of 100 college hours before she graduates high school. This is a huge accomplishment! She will graduate with two associate degrees: one in Arts and the other in Science. She plans on completing her bachelor’s in nursing degree at University of North Texas. She is being escorted by her grandfather, Tommy Hunter.
Mea Reyes: Mea is the daughter of Santos Villastrigo and Irma Reyes. She has attended Hamlin ISD for 13 years (since pre-k). Mea has been a cheerleader for 2 years, band 1 year, One Act Play for 1 year and cross country for 1 year. She has participated in basketball for 4 years, softball for 4 years, track for 4 years and golf for 4 years. She also earned the designation of Piper Scholar for the last 3 years and has served as a class officer for 1 year. Mea has completed her Certified Nurses Aide Course of 100 clinical hours. Mea will graduate with her associate’s degree in arts and her associates degree in Science. She plans to attend Midland College for the radiology program. She is being escorted by her father, Santos Villastrigo.
Lillie Kate White: Lillie Kate is the daughter of Drs. Chad and Jennifer White. She as attended Hamlin ISD for 3 years. Lillie Kate is a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years and the Student Council for 3 years. She is also a member of the Athletic Leadership Council and the FCA Council. She has participated in track for 3 years, basketball for 3 years, cross country for 2 years, and band for 2 years. She has been the softball manager for 3 years and participated in One Act Play for 1 year. She has been awarded the Piper Scholar for 2 years and received Rotary Student of the Year for 1 year. LK has served as Class President for 2 years and Student Council Officer for 3 years. Lillie Kate has completed her Certified Nurses Aide Course with 100 clinical hours, She will be attending Texas A&M University to obtain a Bachelor’s of Nursing degree. She would also like you to know that she is the better twin! She is being escorted by her father, Dr. Chad White.
2025 Homecoming King Nominees
Ian Gruben: Ian is the son Kendon and KurstenGruben. He has attended Hamlin ISD “his whole life”. Ian has participated in varsity football for 4 years, varsity basketball for 4 years, varsity baseball for 4 years, varsity track for 2 years and varsity golf for 3 years. He has also participated in band for 4 years and has been a member of the Student Council for 4 years and NHS for 2 years. He also serves as a member of the Athletic Leadership Council and senior class President. Ian is an active member of the Hamlin First Baptist youth group. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and beating Luke in NCAA. He plans on attending Texas Tech University to major in Sports Management. Wreck ‘em! He is being escorted by his mother, KurstenGruben.
Hagan Holland:Hagan is the son of Justin and Michelle Holland. He has attended Hamlin ISD since pre-k. Hagan has participated in football for 4 years, basketball for 2 years, baseball for 4 years, track for 4 years and golf for 4 years. He was a member of the FFA for 1 year. Hagan likes to hangout, hunt and fish. Hagan is still contemplating plans for his future. He is being escorted by his mother, Michelle Holland.
Zane Leonard:Zane is the son of David Leonard and Candice Leonard. He has attended Hamlin ISD since pre-k. Zane has participated in varsity basketball, varsity football, varsity golf, varsity track, and varsity cross country for 4 years. He has been a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years and Student Council for 4 years. He has served as class treasurer for 4 years and Student Council treasurer for 1 year. He has also been awarded Piper Scholar and Rotary Student of the Year. He would also like for you to know that the nickname “Brother” is because he treats everyone like family, not because of his sister (duh!). He plans on graduating with his medical degree to become a cardiologist. He is being escorted by his mother, Candice Leonard.
Luke White: Luke is the son of Drs. Chad and Jennifer White. He has attended Hamlin ISD since 8th grade. Luke has participated in varsity football for 4 years, varsity baseball for 4 years, varsity basketball for 4 years and varsity track for 4 years. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council. He also serves on the Athletics Leadership Council and the FCA Council. He is the current class vice president and has served as an officer on the student council. Luke has completed his Certified Nurse’s Aide course with 100 clinical hours. He is currently working on completing the Trail Life Freedom Award. He likes to hang out with his friends and play sports. He plans on attending college to pursue a career in the medical field. He is being escorted by his mother, Jennifer White.
