First Baptist Church Hamlin Offers Free Thanksgiving Dinner to Entire Community
November 23, 2025
First Baptist Church (FBC) of Hamlin is opening the doors of its Fellowship Hall to ensure that every member of the community has a place to celebrate Thanksgiving this year. The church announced that it will host a completely free, traditional Thanksgiving dinner, extending a warm invitation to everyone who feels hungry, is struggling to cook, or whose family cannot make it home for the holiday.
The annual community dinner will take place on November 27th, served from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the FBC Fellowship Hall, located at 217 SW Ave B.
"Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and fellowship, and we believe that no one in our community should spend the holiday alone or without a hot meal," said FBC organizers. "If you are hungry, having trouble cooking, or your family can’t make it home, we want you to know: We have a seat at our table for you."
The event is entirely free of charge, reflecting the church’s commitment to service and accessibility during the holiday season. Attendees can expect a full menu of traditional Thanksgiving favorites, served buffet-style.
In an effort to reach residents who may have mobility issues or trouble leaving their homes, FBC Hamlin is also offering a crucial service: meal delivery is available upon request.
Residents wishing to arrange a delivery or needing more information are encouraged to call ahead.
